President Hypocrite Strikes Again

President Hypocrite strikes again. It’s amazing how little this president thinks of the people of this country. He obviously subscribes to the theory that the people of this country have short memories. This president railed against taking “Super Pac” funds for his re-election campaign. For you edification concerning what a Super PAC is. A short definition is provided here “In the United States, a political action committee, or PAC, is the name commonly given to a private group, regardless of size, organized to elect political candidates or to advance the outcome of a political issue or legislation.[1] Legally, what constitutes a “PAC” for purposes of regulation is a matter of state and federal law. Under the Federal Election Campaign Act, an organization becomes a “political committee” by receiving contributions or making expenditures in excess of $1,000 for the purpose of influencing a federal election.” The reference here is from Wikipedia.

The Supreme Court in the Citizens United ruling made it legal for these Super Pacs to operate. This infuriated Obama. So much so, that he scolded the Supreme Court ,in an unprecedented way I might add< at his state of the Union Address in 2010. He called their favorable ruling for Super Pacs a serious detriment to Unites States elections. Openly worrying about how corrupt our elections could become if Super Pac money was allowed. Well, guess what, the hypocrite in chief is now accepting Super Pac donations on HIS behalf for his reelection campaign.

He will probably get away with this new hypocritical move, because, let’s face it, most people do not care, or care to understand, these political maneuvers. He will get away with this easy enough. The main stream media will not even report on this. This is in keeping with the MSM’s hands-off approach to this guy’s left-handed political machinations. So, in the end, the people of this country will suffer as usual.
